LEW'S HOME PAGE

My interests include baseball, baseball parks, hiking, geocaching, music and a whole lot more. I have listed info and links related to these interests below.

BASEBALL SITES
Baseball ReferenceAnything and everything  related to baseball records. If you can't find it here it probably can't be found.
Baseball FeverA marvelous site to discuss almost anything baseball related. There are forums here covering every aspect of the game itself - and if you can't find what you are looking for, you can start your own thread!
Major League BaseballMajor league baseball's own site. I don't spend a lot of time here, but there is a lot available at this site - including the ability to order tickets to any team's games and get up the minute scores.
Classic Keeper LeagueThis is the home site of the Diamond Mind Baseball game replay league I have been in since it's inception. There is also a Classic Keeper League sub-forum at Baseball Fever
Golden Age of BaseballAnother Diamond Mind replay league I am in. This one was started by me.
Ballpark SitesHere are links to several sites that visit and review ballparks, both major and minor league. I love ballparks and often visit them even if there is no game scheduled. Just the presence of the diamond, the spacious field and the subtle variances among the different ballparks is enough for me!

GEOCACHING

Geocaching is a twenty first century "treasure hunt" using a hand held or portable GPS. Caches (containers of various shapes and sizes) are hidden by individuals, who then post the coordinates (latitude and longitude) online for other players to load into their GPS receiver and then attempt to find. Some are easy; some are diabolically disguised. This sport is fun and gets you outside. The thing I enjoy most about geocaching is the wonderful spots that it takes me to that I would never have known about otherwise. Below are a couple of links
Geocaching.comThis is the official website for geocaching. There is an abundance of information here regarding the sport of geocaching. Registration is free, although if you get involved in geocaching at all I recommend spending the money to upgrade to a premium account. It's well worth it.
It's Not About The NumbersA nifty site if you become a premium member at geocaching.com. You can generate a query, upload it to this site, and get an incredible amount of info about the caches you have found and the places you have cached. The maps and most of the graphs below were created at this site.
